About Us
Situated on 165 rolling acres in scenic Rancho California, Cuyamaca College has been described by many visitors as having one of the finest higher education campuses in all of San Diego County. Although not as large as some of the four-year universities in the region, Cuyamaca College has a lot going on, and having a roadmap to its many programs, facilities, departments, public safety services and more can come in handy. For those of you who are unacquainted with our campus, Cuyamaca College opened in 1978 and serves approximately 10,000 students. It is one of two colleges serving the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District in San Diego's East County and has undergone a massive modernization project thanks to Propositions R and V. The best part of our campus, however, are the people, as we will do everything we can to ensure our students succeed.
