Library Relocation

May 7, 2017

Dear Cuyamaca College Students,

The Library/Learning Resource Center (LRC) will be temporarily relocated effective immediately. Over the weekend, the Library suffered severe flooding and water damage due to a sudden break to a fire sprinkler line.  The Library will be closed and be under construction for some time.

We are pleased to share that we have been able to relocate key services to other parts of the campus to minimize the impact to you.

Circulation and Access to Books: L-103

  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 7:30pm
  • Some Reserve textbooks will be available in L-103; All other books will not be available for check-out
  • Online e-books and databases can be accessed via the Library website
  • Interlibrary Loan Service - We will continue to receive materials from other libraries
  • Calculators are available for check-out
  • The Grossmont College Library continues to be available to you

Reference Services: E-121

  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 7:30pm
  • A librarian will be available for research assistance in the Tech Mall, E-121

Computer Access: E-121

  • Students are encouraged to use the computers in the Tech Mall, E-121
  • Additional locations throughout campus continue to be available

Academic Resource Center (ARC) Tutoring: E-121

  • ARC tutoring will occur in the Tech Mall, E-121, for the remainder of the semester
