CCCCO Equity Plan

Spanish Translation  Arabic Translation

California Education Code 78222(a) established the Student Equity and Achievement (SEA) Program to support California Community Colleges in advancing system-wide goals to boost achievement for all students with an emphasis on eliminating achievement gaps for students from traditionally underrepresented groups.

Cuyamaca College developed its Student Equity Plan in the Spring 2019 semester, under the leadership of the Student Success and Equity Council (SSEC). SSEC reviewed equity data provided by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office (CCCCO) and agreed to pursue full equity as its goal for all disproportionately impacted groups.

Congratulations to all of our 2020 Cuyamaca College Graduates!

2017 Integrated Plan

In 2017, the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office redesigned the planning process for the Student Success and Support Program (SSSP), Student Equity, and Basic Skills Initiative (BSI). What was formerly three separate planning processes for the CCCCO is now combined plan that is explicitly linked to the College's strategic plan and integrates the budgets for these three funding streams.

The College convened a work group in July 2017 to begin the initial work of mapping the College's three previous plans (SSSP, Student Equity, BSI) and developing goals based on the 2016-2022 Strategic Plan key performance indicators.
