Cuyamaca College welcomes all student interests and encourages all students to form student organizations to reflect them. Here at Cuyamaca College, these are the student organizations that reflect the voice of our LGBTQIA+ students.

Spectrum

Spectrum is student organizations proudly promotes all parts of the LGBTQIA+ experience through advocacy, activities, networking & student engagement. We are proud here at Cuyamaca college, and we let our Spectrum show.

Mental Health Resources

Located in the Health & Wellness Center

Our professional staff provides support and information regarding: Individual, couples, and group counseling. Registered clinicians provide counseling in a confidential, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment. Links to community resources/ services are also provided.

"By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through: Support for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ; Education for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ; Advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are LGBTQ."

  • Point Foundation Community College Scholarship (Click Here)

"The Point Community College Program inspires LGBTQ community college students to fulfill their ambitions of attending a four-year college or university. Students accepted into the program will receive up to a $3,700 tuition scholarship, admissions counseling, coaching, and financial education at the Point Community College Transfer Symposium in Los Angeles, and access to the Point Foundation network of LGBTQ scholars, more than 300 alumni, and many others dedicated to seeing LGBTQ students succeed."

  • Equality California Comcast Fellowship (Click Here)
"Through a generous grant from the Comcast Foundation and in partnership with the California LGBT Legislative Caucus, EQCAI is sponsoring a four-week intensive fellowship program for six (6) students who have completed at least their first year of studies at college or university."
