I am currently the Career Education program Coordinator for Cuyamaca College. In addition to serving as a faculty member, I have participated in Strong Workforce initiatives such as collecting and analyzing labor market data and revising TOP codes for our Career Education programs. My current role is to identify and alleviate barriers to completion at every stage in Cuyamaca's Career Education programs, and help the college advance a vision for career services/job placement. I serve as a representative for Career Education programs, and am a liaison to feeder programs in the community and to employers and industry groups in the region. I have an M.E. in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University and a B.A. in communication from SDSU.
