Course Notes:

This course is a hands-on overview of current web development. Emphasis is on coding and debugging valid HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), but the course also includes design principles and introductory graphics production to encourage attractive, usable design. Mobile development is introduced. Student use industry standard development environments to create websites.

  • There are 2 sections of this course.  One is fully online and the other is blended (meets once a week and is partially online).
  • The online course has an online orientation that must be completed by Sunday of the first week.
  • Blended students are required to do work online outside of class time (reading, exercises, videos, quizzes, etc.).
  • To succeed, keep up with assignments.  Your teacher will be active in the course and will enthusiastically help you succeed.
