Math 160+060 Online with Terrie Nichols

Welcome

I believe we all have the capacity to do college-level statistics (Math 160) with a little foundational support (Math 060). I also believe that we can tap into that capacity as a family of teachers and learners who are responsible for each other’s success in this class. As your teacher and fellow learner, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you to demystify statistics and to be part of your journey toward achieving your educational goals. Together, through our good hard work and sustained effort, we can all be successful and reap the rewards of education’s promise.

Orientation Step 1

To begin the online orientation, please carefully read through the fall 2020 course syllabus (opens in a new tab) and decide whether this online course is right for you.

Orientation Step 2 (Online Orientation Quiz in Canvas)

After carefully reading the syllabus, if you are still interested in taking Math 160+060 online with me, you need to enroll in the course through the College. However, you will not gain immediate access to our course on Canvas. After enrolling in Math 160+060 through the College, it may be more than 24 hours (not including weekends) before you have access to the course combo on Canvas (assuming I have opened it). To remain enrolled in Math 160+060, you must complete the online orientation quiz in our course on Canvas by Monday, August 31st, at 11:59 pm (the first official day of the class). I will open our Canvas course by Thursday, August 27th, at 12:00 pm.
