When you've completed your personality assessments and researched occupational research, it's time to refresh your resume' and interview skills.

A) Resume Writing

There are a number of ways Career Services can help with your resume'.

  • Workshops are offered throughout the year on resume writing.
  • Personalized Help. You may make an appointment to have your resume reviewed or help creating your resume after you've done your personal assessments. Call (619) 660-4450 for a resume appointment.
  • Reference books are in the Career Center Library.

B) Interview Skills

The Career Center provides information on interview skills and appropriate dress for an interview.

Workshops and classes are available to help you make a good impression during your interview.

C) Job Search Tips

Make an appointment for Employment Advising from Career Services. You will be provided with personalized job search tips for your chosen career path. Call 619-660-4450.

D) Collection of Training DVDs

Interactive DVDs may be viewed in the Career Center.

E) Take Practice Employment Tests

Practice taking a variety of sample employment screening tests given by employers to help prepare you for the real thing.
