Degrees/Certificate

Accounting – A.S. Degree or Certificate of Achievement

Students can earn an A.S. degree in Accounting which prepares you to continue to a 4-year institution to pursue a Bachelor degree. Students who complete only the major requirements listed in the catalog qualify for a Certificate in Accounting. The degree and certificate both lead to employment in entry-level positions such as accounts receivable, payroll clerk, accounting clerk, accounting assistant and tax technician.

Bookkeeping – Certificate of Achievement

The Bookkeeping certificate is for students who need very specific training in the area of bookkeeping/accounting, either to obtain the necessary skills for an entry level office position, or to provide technical competence for advancement within the office environment.
