Resources for Accounting and Bookkeeping
The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has been the designated organization in the private sector for establishing standards of financial accounting that govern the preparation of financial reports by nongovernmental entities. Those standards are officially recognized as authoritative by the SEC and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Provides an accreditation exam for accounting professionals who want to be company employees rather than independent accountants or CPAs.
Provides information on the CPA exam and accounting standards.
Provides continuing education and certification for government accountants.
