English as a Second Language

If you pass ESL 50 & ESL 50G, please sign up for ESL 1A and ESL 1AG.

For current ESL 1A students: If at the end of the semester you get an A or B grade, I recommend you enroll in ESL 2A & ESL 2AG.

If you get a C grade, I recommend you enroll in ESL 1B & ESL 1BG.
.
**NOTE: Even if you get an A or B, you can still take ESL 1B & ESL 1BG if you want to.
.
If you pass ESL 1B, please sign up for ESL 2A and ESL 2AG.
.
For current ESL 2A students: If at the end of the semester you get an A or B grade, I recommend you enroll in English 120 and English 20.

If you get a C grade, I recommend you enroll in ESL 2B & ESL 2BG.
.
**NOTE: Even if you get an A or B, you can still take ESL 2B & ESL 2BG if you want to.

If you pass ESL 2B, please sign up for English 120. **NOTE: You can also sign up for the English 20 class if you want to. English 20 gives you one extra hour of assistance by the English instructor to help you pass.
