Professional Development Resources and Opportunities

  • Vision Resource Center – Formerly known as the Professional Learning Network, the California Community College Chancellor's office has created this comprehensive and virtual professional development resource center. All California community college employees are able to create an account using their campus email address. This site has resources for effective practices, and thousands of short videos on subjects such as MS Office, Email Efficiency at Work, Productivity, and Stress Management.
  • Lynda.com offers thousands of high quality online videos in education, design, web development, CAD, photography, audio, video, and business (including MS Office, Windows, iPad/iPhone, and more).

Past Cuyamaca Professional Development Opportunities

  • Cultural Competency Institute for Classified Professionals
    An interactive certificate series about culturally responsive communication that will be comprised of one session per month, and will be facilitated by San Diego State University faculty member, Dr. Tanis Starck. All sessions will be from 9AM-11AM. March location is to be determined, all other session will be held in I-209. Session Dates: 3/17/17, 4/18/17, 5/23/17, 6/27/17, and 7/25/17
