Online Learning

Online work can be done anytime (24/7), but there are deadlines and, in my classes, these are weekly deadlines. Time-management skills, independent learning, and self-discipline are essential. If you are a procrastinator, online courses should help you develop some good time-management skills.

Each online class is unique to the instructor and subject area. My classes include many tools for learning and studying psychology, whatever your learning style. The courses maintain the quality and comprehensiveness of a traditional class, but use different methods to do so. Lecture is replaced with a digital textbook, presentations, animations, interactive exercises, videos, discussions, and testing. Weekly assignments include quizzes (both timed and untimed), discussion posting, and interactive exercises. in my classes, optional, extra-credit assignments can be used make up some missed work.
