Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Interpreting Services:

Cuyamaca College offers Sign language Interpreting services for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Sign language interpreters will be provided to students who qualify through Disabled Students Programs and Services.  Service requests are handled by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Interpreter Scheduler.

Closed Captioning:

Captioning services are provided to qualified students. Classroom communication will be transcribed for the student. Sservice requests are handled by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Interpreter Scheduler.

 Important Note:
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students must meet with a Disabled Students Programs and Services Counselor/Specialist to determine accommodations.
