The NextUp program formerly known as CAFYES (Cooperating Agencies Foster Youth Educational Support Program) is a part of the EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) Program. NextUp is designed to support the educational goals and holistic well-being of current and former foster youth. The goal is to provide ‘over and above’ supportive services to help current and former foster youth overcome the extra obstacles that may be holding them back from the pursuit of higher education through the completion of a certificate, degree or transfer.
